Emily Bender

I started as an au -pair in Italy when I was 19 years old. I can truthfully say that this decision was the single most life-altering one that I have ever made. Being an au-pair opened up my eyes to a whole new way of living. The inspiration I found and the connections I made changed the course of my life forever. I want every family I help with this process to have a nanny that inspires them and teaches them something new every single day.

There are definitely positives and negatives of both but I believe the most important factor is your family’s lifestyle. Here are some important questions you should ask yourself: Do you have enough room for a live-in nanny? Are you comfortable having someone else in your house all of the time? Do you have a busy schedule and need the flexibility of a live-in nanny?
